Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activities are ship repair, ship building and marine engineering, dry bulk shipping and shipping agency. It also carries out ship conversion, jumbolisation and repairing and construction oil rigs. The Group currently owns and operates 5 shipyards in China. The dry bulk shipping segment globally transports dry bulk cargo such as grain, iron ore, steel, cement and fertiliser. The Group also charters its ships to shipping companies. The shipping agency segment offers services such as document preparation, collection of freight, cargo operation, vessel husbanding, customs declaration, port authority coordination, bunkering services and container handling, cargo canvassing, transshipment management and administration and settlement of cargo claims. The Group is headquartered in Singapore with operations in Singapore, Malaysia and China. |
