| The Group's principal activity is to develop, manage and operate broadband communications network. It operates into reportable segments: Cable and Content. Cable segment develops, manages and operates broadband cable systems including video, high-speed Internet and phone services. Video services include Basic and expanded programming, Premium channel programming, Pay-per-view programming and Digital cable. High-speed Internet service helps subscribers to connect their personal computers via cable modems to access online information. It also provides regional sports and news networks. Content segment provides services through six national cable networks such as E! Entertainment Television, Style Network, The Golf Channel, OLN, G4 and AZN Television. On 31-Dec-2006, the Group served more than 24.1 million video subscribers, 13.2 million high-speed Internet subscribers and 4.6 million phone subscribers. |
