| The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and market a wide variety of consumer products. The Group operates through two segments: Oral, Personal and Home Care; and Pet Nutrition. Oral, Personal and Home care products include toothpaste, oral rinses and toothbrushes, bar and liquid hand soaps, shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, deodorants and antiperspirants, shave products, laundry and dishwashing detergents, fabric conditioners, cleansers and cleaners, bleaches and other similar items. Pet Nutrition products include pet food products manufactured and marketed by Hill's Pet Nutrition. Colgate sells its products in over 200 countries and territories around the world under such internationally recognized brand names as Colgate, Palmolive, Mennen, Softsoap, Irish Spring, Protex, Sorriso, Kolynos, Elmex, Ajax, Axion, Soupline, Suavitel and Fab as well as Hill's Science Diet and Hill's Prescription Diet. |
